Deanne Rigden

Deanne is a highly experienced NDIS Mentor and Support Worker at ACHIEVE, bringing over 8 years of experience in the disability sector. She has dedicated her career to supporting individuals across a wide range of disability support needs, using a calm, skilled, and person-centred approach.

Deanne has extensive experience supporting participants with high and complex needs, including non-verbal and non-ambulant supports, challenging behaviours, as well as higher-functioning support needs associated with Intellectual Disability (ID) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is known for her ability to adapt her support style to suit each individual’s strengths, goals, and communication needs.

She is proudly inclusive and accepting of the LGBTQIA+ community, and values respect, dignity, and empowerment in all aspects of her work. As a mentor, Deanne also enjoys supporting and guiding others within the team, sharing her knowledge and experience to strengthen quality support.

Outside of work, Deanne is artistic and creative, enjoying drawing, music, and spending quality time with friends, family, and her pets.
