Andrew Lower is a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Community Support Worker with over 4 years of experience supporting people with disability to live more independent, fulfilled, and connected lives. He is committed to building respectful relationships, promoting choice and independence, and delivering person-centred support tailored to each individual’s goals and needs.

He has supported individuals with physical, intellectual, and psychosocial disabilities, including complex behaviours and high support needs. His experience includes personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, transport, community access, and supporting daily living skills.

Andrew takes a calm, respectful, and proactive approach to support. He uses behaviour support strategies and de-escalation techniques when needed, while always promoting dignity, safety, wellbeing, and choice.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys going to the gym, walking, staying active through sports, gaming, and keeping up with science and technology. He also enjoys reading about mental health and personal growth, travelling, shopping, experiencing different cultures and cuisines, and being involved in local community groups. Andrew has a deep love for animals, cares about the environment, and finds great purpose in helping vulnerable people live safe, happy, and meaningful lives.
