Mentor / Support Worker

Marty is an experienced and dedicated support worker with approximately 6 years of experience in the disability sector. He has provided support in both one-on-one settings and group environments, including Day Options programs, helping individuals build confidence, develop skills, and engage in meaningful activities within their communities.

Marty is passionate about building positive relationships and supporting people to achieve their goals while maintaining their independence and quality of life. He takes a friendly and person-centred approach to support, ensuring those he works with feel respected, valued, and encouraged.

Outside of work, Marty has a lifelong passion for sport. He has coached, played, and followed a variety of sports and has been involved in football in different capacities for over 30 years. He also enjoys playing card and board games, watching game and quiz shows, and following crime series on television. Marty is a proud father of three children and grandfather to two grandchildren, and he values spending time with his family.
