Luke is a skilled and reliable Support Worker and the head Yorke Peninsula Service Lead at ACHIEVE Disability Services, bringing over 3 years of experience within the disability sector. He holds all required certifications and clearances and has continued to upskill beyond mandatory requirements, demonstrating a strong commitment to professional development, leadership, and best-practice support.
Luke has extensive experience working across both community and hospital settings, supporting individuals with a diverse range of needs. His experience includes working with people with Intellectual Disability (ID), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), mental health challenges, schizophrenia, elderly participants, and individuals who are non-verbal and/or non-ambulant. He approaches his work with a calm, respectful, and person-centred focus, ensuring safety, dignity, choice, and quality support in line with NDIS standards.
In his role as Yorke Peninsula Service Lead, Luke provides local leadership and oversight of ACHIEVE’s services throughout the Yorke Peninsula. He works closely with participants, families, support workers, Support Coordinators, and other stakeholders to ensure supports are delivered consistently and remain responsive to each participant’s individual needs and goals.
Luke also assists with the coordination of local service delivery, supporting and mentoring staff, responding to participant and workforce needs, maintaining effective communication between regional staff and ACHIEVE’s broader management team, and helping establish and strengthen ACHIEVE’s presence throughout the Yorke Peninsula. His local knowledge and hands-on experience allow him to provide practical leadership while maintaining a strong understanding of the day-to-day needs of both participants and support workers.

Outside of work, Luke enjoys spending time with his animals, cooking, and being with family. He also loves driving along the coastline of the Yorke Peninsula (YP) and through the hills, reflecting his appreciation for the local community, time outdoors, and maintaining a positive work-life balance.
