Administrative Assistant / Mentor / Support Worker

Maddy joins Achieve Disability Services Pty Ltd with over three years of experience in the disability sector, primarily within Supported Independent Living (SIL). Holding a Bachelor of Psychology, she combines her academic understanding of human behaviour with hands-on experience to provide empathetic, person-centred support.

Throughout her career, Maddy has supported individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), Down Syndrome (DS), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Anxiety, Depression, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). She also has strong practical experience supporting people with complex health needs, including catheter management, dysphagia, and diabetes—ensuring participants receive high-quality, safe, and dignified care.

Maddy is passionate about inclusivity and has worked closely with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, maintaining a respectful and affirming approach in all areas of her work.

At Achieve, Maddy plays a dual role as an Administrative Assistant and Mentor. She provides vital organisational and operational support to the team, while also empowering participants to build independence, confidence, and meaningful community connections. Her commitment to the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct ensures that every interaction is delivered with professionalism, dignity, and respect.

In addition to her psychology degree, Maddy holds a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), further enhancing her ability to deliver holistic and individualised care.

Outside of work, Maddy enjoys staying active through gym training and long walks, spending time with friends, and travelling to snowy destinations to snowboard. At home, she loves relaxing with her dog, Pumpkin.

Maddy’s blend of professional expertise, empathy, and dedication makes her a highly valued member of the Achieve Disability Services team.
