Throughout her career, Madeline has supported individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), Down Syndrome (DS), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Anxiety, Depression, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). She also has strong practical experience supporting people with complex health needs, including catheter management, dysphagia, and diabetes—ensuring participants receive high-quality, safe, and dignified care.
Madeline is passionate about inclusivity and has worked closely with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, maintaining a respectful and affirming approach in all areas of her work.
At Achieve Disability Services, Madeline works as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Service Coordinator, and fill-in Mentor. In her role as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, she works closely with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams to understand the underlying causes of behaviours of concern and develop evidence-based, person-centred Behaviour Support Plans. Madeline focuses on proactive and positive behaviour support strategies that promote independence, emotional regulation, and improved quality of life. She is committed to reducing restrictive practices through skill development, environmental adjustments, and collaborative support planning that empowers participants and those around them.
As a Service Coordinator, Madeline helps ensure participants receive the right supports at the right time by coordinating services, liaising with providers, and assisting participants and families to navigate the NDIS system. She is dedicated to building strong support networks that enable participants to achieve their goals and remain actively engaged in their communities.
In addition, Madeline works as a fill-in Mentor when required, providing direct support to participants and helping them build confidence, independence, and meaningful social connections through community engagement and skill development.
Madeline’s work is guided by the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct, ensuring that every interaction is delivered with professionalism, dignity, and respect.
In addition to her psychology degree, Madeline holds a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), further enhancing her ability to deliver holistic and individualised care.
Outside of work, Madeline enjoys staying active through gym training and long walks, spending time with friends, and travelling to snowy destinations to snowboard. At home, she loves relaxing with her dog, Pumpkin.
