Eliza Monger

Mentor / Support Worker

Eliza is a dedicated support worker at ACHIEVE who brings warmth, empathy, and enthusiasm to everything she does. With a background in education and healthcare and a strong commitment to inclusive, person-centred support, Eliza works alongside participants to build confidence, independence, and meaningful everyday skills.

Eliza is a kind, caring, and passionate mentor and support worker at ACHIEVE Disability Services. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Teaching with a Bachelor of Science at the University of Adelaide, bringing both academic insight and practical compassion to her role.

Eliza has a diverse professional background, with previous experience working as an Education Support Officer (ESO) as well as in hospital administration, giving her a strong understanding of education, health systems, and person-centred support.

She has experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), mental health conditions, schizophrenia, cerebral palsy (CP), Down syndrome, and Parkinson’s disease. Eliza is inclusive, respectful, and proudly accepting of the LGBTQIA+ community, ensuring every person she supports feels safe, valued, and understood.

Outside of work, Eliza enjoys going to the gym, running along the beach, painting, baking, and spending time with friends. Her positive energy, creativity, and genuine care help her build strong, trusting relationships with participants and support them to achieve their personal goals
