Jenny is an experienced mentor and disability support professional with over five years of experience supporting people with complex mental health conditions and disabilities. She holds a Diploma of Mental Health, which has provided her with a strong understanding of recovery-oriented practice, trauma-informed care, risk assessment, communication strategies, and person-centred support. This knowledge allows her to confidently support participants with complex behaviours while promoting independence, dignity, and positive outcomes.
Jenny has extensive experience supporting individuals living with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Psychosis, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD Level 3, both verbal and non-verbal), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Epilepsy. She has worked with participants aged 6 to 66 years across a variety of settings, including community access, in-home support, and Supported Independent Living (SIL).
Jenny is known for her calm, approachable, and bubbly personality. She builds genuine connections with people of all ages and believes that trust, patience, and consistency are the foundation of quality support. She strives to create a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment where participants feel heard, valued, and empowered to achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Jenny enjoys spending quality time with her family and her beloved toy poodle, Cookie. She has a soft spot for all cute and furry animals and brings her warm, easy-going nature into both her personal and professional life
