Operations Manager / Mentor

Luke brings extensive experience in the disability support sector to his role as Operations Manager and Substitute Mentor at ACHIEVE DISABILITY SERVICES PTY LTD. Known for his approachable leadership style and hands-on experience, he ensures the organisation delivers high-quality, person-centred support to every participant. His focus on teamwork, compliance and continuous improvement helps maintain excellence across all areas of service delivery.

As Operations Manager, Luke plays a key leadership role in coordinating services, managing staff and ensuring compliance with NDIS quality standards. He works closely with service coordinators, support workers and team leaders to ensure participants receive the supports outlined in their NDIS plans, while maintaining flexibility and responsiveness to changing needs.

Luke oversees operational efficiency through rostering, performance management, incident reporting and system improvements. He also mentors and trains staff, ensuring they have the knowledge, confidence and tools to provide quality, person-centred care. His work in quality assurance and continuous improvement strengthens both team performance and participant outcomes.

Luke is often the main point of contact for participants and families, ensuring their experience is positive, respectful and aligned with their goals. In the field, he has extensive experience working with ASD, ID, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, ADHD, Epilepsy, Tourette’s Syndrome (TS) and Isodicentric Chromosome 15 Syndrome, as well as members of the LGBTIQA+ community.

He is known for his kind, caring and patient approach, leading with empathy and professionalism. Luke’s passion for promoting independence and meaningful connections underpins his contribution to the organisation’s mission.

Outside of work, Luke enjoys CrossFit, dirt bike riding, returning to his hometown in the Riverland, and spending quality time with friends and family. A keen lover of the outdoors, he’s also an avid water sports enthusiast.
