Mentor / Support Worker

Maddie is a friendly and enthusiastic mentor at ACHIEVE Disability Services Pty Ltd who takes a warm, person-centred approach to support. She has experience working with ASD, Intellectual Disability, Down syndrome, non-verbal communication, and mental health challenges, and is inclusive, affirming, and passionate about helping participants build confidence and achieve their goals.

Maddie is a kind, friendly, and enthusiastic mentor at ACHIEVE Disability Services Pty Ltd. Maddie is passionate about supporting people to make the most of each day. With a positive outlook and approachable nature, Maddie builds genuine, supportive connections with participants and encourages them to explore their interests, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals.

She brings a warm, person-centred approach to her mentoring role and enjoys supporting participants in the community, whether that involves shopping, trying new food spots, going for walks, or engaging in fitness and gym-based activities. Maddie has experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), Down syndrome, non-verbal communication, and mental health challenges. She has a strong interest in music—particularly live music—along with reading, socialising, and sports, and is always open to trying new activities alongside participants in a fun and motivating way.

Maddie is an inclusive and welcoming mentor who is respectful and affirming of the LGBTQIA+ community, ensuring everyone she supports feels safe and valued. Having recently moved to Australia from the UK, she brings a fresh perspective and genuine enthusiasm for connecting with others, making her a positive and valued addition to the ACHIEVE team.
