Mentor / Support Worker

Penny has a calm and empathetic nature and genuinely enjoys caring for and connecting with people within the community. She brings a friendly, supportive, and positive outlook to her work and is passionate about helping individuals achieve their personal goals.

Penny has a diverse professional background, including experience in childcare and as an Allied Health Assistant. She also has over 15 years of First Aid experience through her involvement as a Surf Lifesaver, demonstrating her strong commitment to safety and wellbeing.

She brings valuable lived experience to her role, having supported family members with mental health challenges. As a mother of three, Penny also offers a broad range of practical life skills, understanding, and compassion in the support she provides.

In addition to her support work, Penny is a qualified chef and enjoys teaching others how to cook, with a focus on healthy, simple, and budget-friendly meals.

Outside of work, Penny enjoys gardening, swimming, beach walks, and visiting local markets and op shops.
