Rachel is a bubbly, outgoing, and compassionate mentor at ACHIEVE DISABILITY SERVICES PTY LTD. At 28, she brings extensive experience supporting children, young people, and families across a wide range of care and education settings. Her dedication to helping others grow and thrive has been a driving force throughout her career.
Rachel’s background includes work in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC), childcare, kindergarten teaching, residential care, and most recently as a Kinship Care Practitioner. Through these roles, she has developed strong skills in person-centred support, emotional understanding, and working effectively with diverse needs. She has experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), complex or behavioural needs (BOCs), and non-verbal communication needs. She also has particular expertise supporting people with Severe Verbal Dyspraxia, PTSD, and Anxiety.
Rachel prides herself on building genuine connections, fostering trust, and promoting inclusion. She is proudly supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community and ensures everyone feels respected, accepted, and empowered.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys going to the beach, walking her dog, going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends.
