Sofia Ghezzi

Sofia is a dedicated mentor at ACHIEVE DISABILITY SERVICES PTY LTD, bringing with her a strong background in hospitality that has shaped her exceptional communication skills and natural ability to connect with others. Through her professional and personal experiences, she has gained deep empathy, patience, and an understanding of the importance of creating safe, uplifting environments.

Sofia brings valuable lived experience through her own mental health and neurodiversity journey, which strengthens her ability to relate authentically to participants. She has completed her Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) and is committed to delivering inclusive, person-centred care. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Sofia prioritises safety, respect, and acceptance for every individual she supports.

She has experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), Anxiety, and various mental health conditions. Sofia is passionate about promoting independence, dignity, and personal empowerment.

Outside of work, Sofia enjoys spending time with animals—especially cats—listening to live music, collecting vinyl records, enjoying coffee dates with friends, thrift shopping, playing Nintendo Switch games, and sharing laughter with loved ones.
