Taylor Manuell

Mentor / Support Worker

Taylor is excited to be joining the ACHIEVE team as a Support Worker, bringing a strong commitment to providing person-centred, respectful and empowering support. Taylor has experience supporting people to achieve their individual goals, develop independence, participate in their community and build confidence in their everyday lives. Taylor understands that every person is unique and values taking the time to listen, understand individual preferences and provide support that reflects each person's needs, choices and aspirations.

Taylor’s approach to support is centred around dignity, choice, independence and meaningful connection. Taylor believes in working alongside each person rather than simply doing things for them, encouraging individuals to have control over their daily routines and decisions. Taylor is committed to building positive and trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries, confidentiality and respect. Taylor also understands the importance of working collaboratively with families, carers and other members of the support team to achieve positive outcomes.

Taylor brings relevant experience and has completed the certifications, mandatory training and employment checks required for their role, including applicable First Aid and CPR, National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check where required, NDIS Worker Orientation and relevant safeguarding, manual handling, infection control, medication awareness and workplace health and safety training. ACHIEVE will ensure all required documentation, checks and competencies are verified and maintained as current.

Taylor is passionate about helping people live a life of their choosing and looks forward to getting to know the people they support, understanding what is important to them and working together to achieve their personal goals. ACHIEVE warmly welcomes Taylor to the team and looks forward to the experience, compassion and positive person-centred approach they bring to the organisation.
